  1. Hi,
I have searched a lot but most of the questions are not describing my condition, and if it is, the answers are pretty misleading!
I want to play real 3D Bluray Movies on my PC with the following specs:

    CPU i7 7700K
    GPU Strix GTX 1080
    Ram 64 GB 3000MHz CL15
    Samsung 960 Pro 1TB SSD
    ASUS External 12X Blu-Ray Burner (Blu-ray 3D support)
    https://www.asus.com/us/Optical-Drives-Storage/BW12D1SU/

My TV is Sony 42" 3DTV with 3D Glasses which I use as monitor

    PowerDVD Ultra Last Version

I DONOT consider Anaglyph as 3D so please don't advise about it!
So with this config I should be able to play and watch 3D movies or not yet?

I was sure I would receive some joke rather than a technical answer!
    I already have ~30 discs, 3D BD, can't figure what's wrong that can't play 3D.

It was not meant as a joke.

Had you worded your original question differently, including the info you now mention, I could have saved my fingers.

So have you set up PowerDVD correctly and not relying on 'Auto Detect' (as it is called in my older version) ?

Or even set the tv correctly i.e. On the remote in this house there is a 3D button.

  5. Yep, I think so, I also tried pot player with no luck!
Actually I wanted to know that technically is it possible to play 3D discs with this config?
Because I know if I had a 3D monitor, I could not play 3D Bluray discs without an additional expensive nVidia 3D kit which I don't have!
The reason I hope I can play is the 3D TV with glasses.
So just want to know if my current config allows to play 3D, take time to debug more carefully?

  6. wow I did it, my PowerDVD was not activated, now it is OK.
Just one problem! No sound! How to route audio through HDMI to the TV?
My speakers are not presented here!

    * Got it, nVidia HD Audio Driver was not installed, now everything's fine, thanks bud

*** The quality of 3D video is not anything near my Sony BDV-E6100 3D Bluray Player, I don't know if this is a limitation of PowerDVD or software players at all.
