I used DGIndex to create a DV2 file. I'm going to use VirtualDub to create an AVI. I have 3 audio files. Which on is best for an AVI?

    VTS AC3 T01 2_0ch 192Kbps 48KHz.wav
    VTS AC3 T01 2_0ch 192Kbps DELAY 0ms.ac3
    VTS T80 2_0ch 192Kbps DELAY 0ms.ac3

  2. It's a D2V file. You only got one audio from DGIndex, right? Use that one.

I'm going to use VirtualDub to create an AVI.
By feeding it an AviSynth script? If not you won't be using VDub as it doesn't accept VOB or D2V input directly.

I had used DVD2AVI before DGIndex so I ended up with multiple files. The D2V file created by DVD2AVI ends up unreadable. DGIndex did give me one AC3 file.

When I open the AC3 with VirtualDub I get the "No audio decompressor" error. How do I fix this?

You don't. VDub doesn't open AC3 files directly. Again, either use an AviSynth script or don't use VDub. Use an all-in-one program, perhaps one like AutoGK if you intend to create an XviD AVI.

    Hybrid is better yet.

I tried the AC3 ACM Codec but I received an error during installation. I installed AC3Filter and now I'm able to open AC3 files directly in VirtualDub.
