I'm looking for software that still supports exporting video projects to MiniDV tape, like they used to 10 years ago. iMovie and Final Cut, though they can capture from MiniDV via Firewire, no longer support exporting (I guess because there is minimal demand these days). Any recommendations for software that still does? I've heard maybe Sony Vegas? Is that functional on Macs? I am totally unfamiliar with it. And if it is indeed an option, which version still supports exporting to MiniDV? Thanks for any assistance.
Try StreamFab Downloader and download from Netflix, Amazon, Youtube! Or Try DVDFab and copy Blu-rays!

Why go that direction? Will only become harder to read back as time goes on....

I know it’s strange. There are gaps in a collection of editions of a show that I’ve worked on for over 15 years now, which was archived on MiniDV until 2014. I want to fill some of those early gaps in the MiniDV library of it by exporting those back to that format, so the archive is complete. I am also keeping an archive on drives as well.

I would recommend FORWARD media migration, not backward.
