Not sure if this belongs here or not...but wanted to post it anyway.
Tried to burn a DVD and a VCD on a CD-R.
This wont play on the Toshiba standalone DVD player.
Is this an issue with the player, the files, the authoring program?
Not sure....
Do DVD's and VCD's burned on CD-R/RW work on standalone players usually??

you might want to try cd-rw they seem to be more compatible with alot of players... some players are very picky about media...
