I have an alsa audio card, using x11 grab to screen capture desktop but for audio, it always captures the external audio in the room as well. Any idea how to screen capture wiith headphone jack or just internal audio or an alternative tool on linux for screen capture through headphone jack?
Try StreamFab Downloader and download from Netflix, Amazon, Youtube! Or Try DVDFab and copy Blu-rays!

The headphone jack is output only, try the microphone jack instead, that's input.

Would you know a good GUI tool that can do this on Linux? I heard about vokoscreen but it hangs on my box.. Or what's cmd line to grab the microphone input ? I am not trying to record my voice.. I m just trying to capture the internal audio and with the headphones plugged in so .I can leave it to record and not having to hear it
