Want to watch a movie on my Vizio TV. Ripped a movie to mp4 and got 3 files: mp4, idx, sub
Movie plays but no subtitles. Can this be fixed and how?
Try StreamFab Downloader and download from Netflix, Amazon, Youtube! Or Try DVDFab and copy Blu-rays! or rip iTunes movies!

Most players can't play DVD subs. You need to convert to SRT.

Or download SRT subs from one of the popular sub sites. -
Stab in the dark here.
Convert the movie to MKV and add the subtitles.
Move the movie onto a USB flash drive.
Hopefully your TV has a USB port.
Go into settings/tools, whatever, on your TV and make sure show subtitles are on.
