  1. I want to mux an MP4 sound track into an MP4 aquarium screen capture.
The screen capture is 1:30 while the sound track is 6:00, so I only need the first 1:30 of the sound track.
What is the easiest way to do this?

    Edit it.

Seriously, demux (mp4muxer or similar) both V & A streams, then use mp3cut to chop to just the first 1:30 of the audio - losslessly, then remux the result with the raw video stream.

Should take no longer than it took to write this.

You'll want to get the time exact, down to the video frame (prob. converted to milliseconds for audio), though, so you get a clean A+V match.

  4. Use ffmpeg's -shortest switch. The longer track will be truncated.
