  1. Does anyone know a way to handle this kind of flicker or jitter that occurs basically vertically, it happens occasionally on S01 NTSC DVD:


    From what I can see, it seems to aliase the image and swap where the halo'ing compression artifacting is occuring (from bottom of a line to top of a line or vice versa).

  2. It can probably be fixed in AviSynth. But you need to provide a video sample. The original MPEG 2 data from the DVD. Use DgIndex (included with DgMpegDec) to mark a section and export it as M2V with File -> Save Project and Demux Video. Upload the M2V file.

    Got it to work, ran as admin.

  5. Is it just that one shot that has that problem? The other shots in that clip are normal telecined video and are cleanly inverse telecined by TFM().TDecimate() in AviSynth. The problematic scene is mostly cleaned up by following that with QTGMC(InputType=2).

    Yeah I actually realized that a bit later on, however, is there nothing that can be done about the haloing thats occuring on that scene?
