I purchased NIB and installed 'Video Patrol 4.0' security/surveillance software on my desktop using Win XP 32 Home. When I try to initialize the program the screen just goes black/blank. I did several uninstall/reinstall of the software but with no improvement. The computer runs fine otherwise and all of my drivers are good. Does anyone have any idea what the problem could be and how it might be rectified? Many thanks...
UPDATE: I couldn't resolve the initial problem so I just switched to using another computer and all works fine now. The issue seems to have been a serious conflict with the on-board graphics driver of the first computer and the driver software for the security cameras. I was unable to change or update the on-board graphics driver so I just changed to using another different computer and everything works now. Go figure...
