New to this. Just wanted to know if anyone has any information or heard if there is a region free code for this portable player.( Maxmade bdp-m1061) I have been able to make all my players, the dvd regions, all free. This is the only one I can't seem to find a code for.

    Same problem...

Don't relay care about region free, but would like to change it from an A/1 (US) to a B/2 (UK)

    No solution anywhere.

Closest i got was to open the service mode

Open the disk tray and press combination

    setup > 8 > 5 > 2 >0

This will show the region it's set to. But it wont let you change them.

not all DVD/blu-ray players can be made region free.
you can use a program like dvdfab to make copies of your orginal
discs that are region free and will play in any dvd/blu-ray player.

That's not helpfull. I can also just rip all my movies to MP4s and play them on a USB drive or ipad. But thats not what I'm after.

Since you're in Australia, try contacting the manufacturer as they may provide a code. Otherwise, portable DVD players are the hardest (as in almost never) to make region-free.

Note: For those outside Australia, this service is unique to Australia.
