None of the regular tools work. Do I need to convert the files to a different video format?

it's a 1gb file and you want to create a blu-ray? a bd disc is 25gb. have you tried MultiAVCHD? you could put a whole bunch of the downloaded tv shows on one bd.

That sample was of one file, but I have about 75 of them to burn. '
I should also mention that I'd like to be able to create menues for the blu-rays.
I've downloaded both programs and will see how I make out. Thanks!Last edited by robertazimmerman; 24th Mar 2019 at 13:54.

You're in for a difficult conversion. mkv isn't valid for Bluray. Large GOP's and 960x720 isn't BluRay compatible. For 4:3 BD video, you can't use 23.976fps for BluRay and 4:3 film speed for BD will have to be telecined to get 29.97fps. There's no telling what the hell AVCHDcoder will do to make those files fly for BluRay.
Authored BluRay disc isn't just another version of YouTube. https://www.videohelp.com/hd#tech . https://www.videohelp.com/hd#filestruct- My sister Ann's brother -
Mkv can be valid as long as it is within blu-ray authoring terms, the op mkv have to be re-encoded to be bluy-ray specs but most people here don't care about blu-ray specs and just burn/copy to their media.

MultiAVCHD seems to have done the trick! Although it took quite a while for MultiAVCHD to compile the appropriate files and folders, I was able to burn a blu-ray disc that played in my Samsung and Panasonic players. Thanks to everyone who offered assistance and tips!

I have a long HD music video that I want to burn to blu-ray. Am I able to insert custom chapter points into the video using MultiAVCHD?
