I bought this camera on eBay about a week ago as of this post. It was sold "as is" because the seller told me that there was a blue line going down across the LCD panel. I thought it was a problem with the panel itself and nothing more, but as it turns out, the blue line was the problem from inside the camera itself. The line was also viewable from the viewfinder. I don't know how to fix this. I first thought that it was a bad tape, but it may be the VHS head itself or something else internally. If anybody else had any experience fixing camcorders that had the same issue or owned one that experience the same problem, please let me know with a reply. I have posted pictures of examples of this.
