Thanks for the previous replies, but I don't think I made myself clear.
I'm looking for a media player network with access to a connected usb hdd.
I have no interest or need for a system that streams video.
In a nutshell, I'm looking for a replacement for my WDTV which does all of the above.

Question why do you need a network connection if you aren't planning to stream anything out of the box?
Plus since most of the connected stuff are constantly updated... thins like youtube, tunein radio will not work because they are OUTDated
BTW.. these are pretty much low tech since hardware players like these cant play any of the new formats.. HEVC, H264 Hi 10 profiles or even the most basic of 4K..Last edited by teodz1984; 14th Mar 2019 at 03:17.
