Hello - I'm new to editing and have been using VSDC Free (v6.3.1.939). After uploading my video, I cannot edit (crop/split, etc.)...a blue/teal overlay on the menu is present and I cannot split, crop, or otherwise edit my video. I can add basic effects (fade in/out, etc.). Screen shot attached.
I have tried different video formats, uninstall/reinstall, etc. VSDC Support told me it had to do with menu views, but that didn't work. I've been able to export the video, but without the edits I can't use it.
I should note that in the past I have had random times when the software has allowed me to edit video. Not sure why I can't now. The video was recorded using the AZ Screen Recorder app on Android. According to Windows properties it is an mp4 file (720x1280, 339kbps data rate, 5.21 fps).
Any help guidance from VSDC users would be helpful. Apologies in advance if this is a dumb or obvious question, but I'm at my wits end.
Try StreamFab Downloader and download from Netflix, Amazon, Youtube! Or Try DVDFab and copy Blu-rays! or rip iTunes movies!
