  1. Here's a snippet from a DVD. It's blended, right? It's from an NTSC release of a film shot in PAL land. Is there anything better than QTGMC().srestore() that I can do to get a clean, progressive file? That code doesn't do a great job, some unique frames are skipped and many frames show ghosting (see for example when the guy is sitting down).

    Well for one it's a progressive video, so QTGMC is pointless here. If this video had telecine combing (looks like interlacing), then something could be done here but every frame in that video is progressive. So maybe there are deblending filters or the deblending built into srestore() might help but I have limited experience there.
