Hello,
when frameserving dvd rips to tmpeg, it often sets the source to "interlace" but sometimes, it doesn't. Of course the encoding process takes nearly twice as long. Can I use a "no interlace" setting without losing quality when the result should be viewed on television only?
Kind Regards,
NiteFlame

If the source is interlaced, then you either have to de-interlace or encode it as interlaced. For vcd you HAVE to de-interlace.
