  1. Hi,
I've subscribed to a pay streaming site that uses player.vimeo for the videos. I want to keep the series but I run into a problem. I can save the video easily but I can't get the cc subtitles.
I've tried everything and I just can't get them. There's no vtt or srt in the inspection elements.
I can find the subtitles that play at that exact moment, but no full episode transcript.
Any help? I've paid for it, I should be able to keep it I think.
    Thanks in advance

  2. It's the producer's choice.
If you go to the video on vimeo's site there may be a download button.
If there is, one of the options may be subtitles and captions.
If there is, you will have a choice of available languages.

    Example:

  3. It's not on vimeo site. It's a pay streaming site that I paid. The video is embedded and when I open the video in a new tab it says on the title "https://player.vimeo.com/video/316897798" when I remove the player from the URL it says it can't find that page.
Is there no way to rip the subtitles? I'm really lost, I'd be grateful for any help.

  4. Most likely you have paid for a "streaming" service and not a "keeping" service. If you believe that's in error, try to contact the suppliers directly.
