    Hi,

    Any suggestions/recommendations for a best media player on MacOS which would play virtually every format?

    I like SMPlayer on Windows. Used to use VLC but because of the security concens stopped using it a long time ago. Any player based on mplayer/mpv for MacOS I would like to try besides any other suggestions.

    Vlc did a major update on the player recently so it should be safe to use now on your mac.
