I think livestreamer is outdated and it's recommended to switch to streamlink.
AFAIK,in streamlink if you use code

streamlink "http://link" best

Without adding -o output.mp4, it will automatically play/open the stream on VLC.

Also this look like a DRM type of stream with protected content,so you might need the license url to decrypt it,however neither of tools support playing live Dash streams (not even to play with vlc) as far as i know
