How to use youtube-dl.exe (Windows) on cbs.com? youtube-dl lists cbs as a supported site but youtube-dl.exe fails if only passed a URL. Must subscription account be passed as well?

Are there calls to streamlink that will work?

Does anyone no why my Youtube-DL does not list AC-3 audio as being available for the same link as slimozis? The AC-3 audio shows up on slimozis's version of Youtube-DL.

I found the MPEG-Dash link, but think it may encrypted, not sure.

How did you find the mpeg-dash address?

I've been using youtube-dl to grab Star Trek: Discovery. It works just fine with the regular link URL.

How did you find the mpeg-dash address?

I used Fiddler to capture the web browser's traffic. However, the MPEG-DASH link in encrypted so there is no point in downloading m4s segments.
