It's DRM protected, you can get separated audio and video files:

But it's encrypted and you will need a key to decrypt it.

  4. Okay, Those links dont work sadly

but ok if anyone finds a solution let me know.. whats DRM?

The links DO work, but both files are encrypted.
The content is protected which restricts unauthorised usage.

I need a way to download from channel 4 as well

  8. Do NOT talk about copying rented/subscription material
You are not allowed to rip/copy/record rented video. It includes streaming rented/subscribed video like netflix, itunes, hulu plus, etc.

If the DRM encryption used has not been broken, then the only solution that I know of is to use a screen recorder.

I didn't see any indication on the websites that using Channel 4 or Channel 5 VOD requires paying a subscription fee. There are some websites which use DRM to protect their streaming video even if they allow users to watch everything that they host for free.

Channel 4 does not require a subscription. It is public. You just have to be in the UK to play the video, which is why you may be so confused.

  12. Try with Audials
