    This is Germany after all.....most of the good VCRs can still be found here as well. I saw another unopened Panasonic recorder with no price/make offer/best offer.

    It's a nice recorder, I have 4 of them and haven't had an issue with any........well other than the Achilles heel of Panasonic DVDRs, they can need yearly spindle cleaning depending on use and ambient dust
