  1. I have googled several hours without expected results.

How to copy DVD video video_ts folder into mkv format video file without re-encoding?
No extra compression, just DVD conversion into mkv in 5 minutes ...
    Is it possible?

Purpose is to archive several hundred DVD's to Bluray media in Bluray player playable format.

I have already checked DVD Cloner to BD but couldn't figure out how to achieve acceptable results during it's 7 days trial period.
Conversion of 7 DVD was chopping picture and unstable sound.

    MakeMKV>File>Open Files>Select VIDEO_TS.ifo

MakeMKV will index the content of the DVD using that file. You will then be able to remux what you want to MKV.

  4. Thanks but I understood that makemkv will re encode content? Is there direct video copy from vob to mkv container?
I haven't tested makemkv personally yet because it's obscure licensing key system.
As much of content is more then 20 years old and of rather poor quality, any conversion results are questionable.

MakeMKV does not re-encode, it just repackages
