Hello,
A friend would like to record a ~15mn presentation at home that will be a mix of him speaking into the camera, and things he'd like to show on his (Windows) computer.
This is a first for me, and I was thinking of doing this:
- Use my Sony camcorder to record him talking to the camera, possibly with a lavalier mic plugged into the camcorder
- Use a screencast application to record stuff on his computer
- Use Shotcut to mix the two streams.
For the screencast application, I've used Flashback Express a couple of times.
Does it sound like a good idea?
Alternatively, what about him setting up his iPhone 8 on a tripod to record a video, Flashback Express for the computer part, and giving me the two files so I can mix them?
Thanks for any hint.

Edit: It looks like Flashback Express can record from the screen AND a webcam, which would be a lot easier since it wouldn't require post-recording editing.
Try StreamFab Downloader and download from Netflix, Amazon, Youtube! Or Try DVDFab and copy Blu-rays! or rip iTunes movies!

OBS. And use a webcam - it could then be set to utilize both (the screen & the webcam). This is the kind of thing that it shines doing.
