I just 'upgraded' to TMPGenc 2.53.35.130 (ie. 2.53). I could open AVS files before but can't now. I get a message:
"File/xxx can not be open, or unsupported"
But I can play the AVS script file in Mediaplayer, and avisynth is installed correctly. I seem to recall having to change a setting in TMPGenc's Environmental Settings (something about directshow) to fix this, but I can't seem to get it to work.
Any help, ideas, suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Been away from this stuff for too long. I'm trying to convert some VHS -> xVCD for family.
