    The Hack as posted does not work for my player. However, the Firmware is slightly different (BJM63BSPWWB1022.0) and the remote is slightly different as well (AK59-00149A) that the one posted in the Hack.

    Over the years I have used Videohelp to make my DVD players region free with no hassle. This is the first time I have had a problem.
    Can someone help me out?

    I have followed the current posting several times (The one saying is it the hack as for the 5700). But no joy. Can advise would be very appreciated.

    The only way to ensure a current model Blu-Ray or DVD player is region free is to get a pre-modded (firmware or hardware) model. As you've found, any difference in firmware (even an update) will make a model unhackable.
