  1. I have mpeg2 files that arent compatible with standalone dvd players to I went to re-encode it with TMPGenc and it said that my file isnt supported so I encoded to an avi with vidomi and that worked fine, but when I go to encode that avi file with TMPG there is no audio yet there is audio in the avi file. What is going on here and is there another way to take my mpeg2 file to mpeg 1 for (S)VCD? Please help.

  2. http://forum.vcdhelp.com/viewtopic.php?p=238655#238655 may help.

Additionally, on this site, under Tools/Encoders, there is a plugin which is supposed to allow you to open a MPEG2 in TMPGENC (TMPGEnc MPEG2Plugin). I have not used so I can't say for sure that it will work for you.
