  1. Hi All,

    apols if this has been answered elsewhere. I'm trying to merge a bunch of files (using Avidemux and/ or MP4Joiner) but some of them fail due to differing attributes.
    So I'm wondering what's the definitive list of attributes that have to match on all/ both video in order to merge them.

    I've read it includes...

    Video:
    Frame Width,
    Frame Height,
    Data rate,
    Total bitrate,
    Frame Rate,

    Audio:
    Bit rate,
    Channels,
    Audio sample rate.

    I'm guessing that's not the full list. Can anyone point out others?

    Thanks in advance.

    Try a search using this thread title as the search string but use 'append' instead of 'merge'.

  3. I would like to know this too for H.265 based video and how to get the values for those characteristics when there is no encoding setting information.

    Frame Width -> important
    Frame Height -> important
    Data rate, -> not important
    Total bitrate -> not important
    Frame Rate -> important in case content is cfr
    users currently on my ignore list: deadrats, Stears555, marcorocchini
