AVermedia Live Gamer Portable Lite latency issue.

Last night I got my LGP Lite hooked up for the first time. There was some latency that I expected so no surprised there. But over time while having OBS open, the latency would get even worse. Is this due to the fact that it's a relatively cheaper card? Is there something I can do to help a bit?

I think I've solved the issue. So far setting the priority of OBS to high in task manager has helped.

EDIT: Even with this, it seems somewhat random if it will add more latency or not.
EDIT 2: So far the best solution I've come up with is to just deactivate and reactivate the card in OBS which isn't that bad.
