Create mp4 from vobs with original grain

Hi

I have ripped my DVD box set of Firefly to individual episode VOBs using DVD Shrink With some other old freewares that still worked for me and I cannot coax Handbrake to create MP4's with the original grain that some scenes were created with.

What else can I use?

There is Blu-Ray out there for Firefly, its not expensive at all

-apply settings that keeps grain, using tune film or tune grain
-using RF method with low RF, that hopefully would allow to distribute enough bitrate to keep that noise
