  1. The movie was encoded with the subtitle. Is there anyway I can take it out? THX!!

    Short answer is NO. But you could try it with a logo away filter, a dirty, time consuming job.

  3. really?!? shoot! but using this layer (i think that's what u mean), isn't gonna be a black (or any other color) layer on the top of the subtitle?

    If your video is in fact a DVD or another video format which does not have subtitles "hardcoded" into the video stream itself then you're in luck.

    However, chances are that the subtitles are permanent which means the video information underneath has been lost. I wouldn't even bother with the delogo filter - they only give satisfactory results if the logo/subtitles are alpha blended (i.e. slightly transparent)

    Trying to delogo anything else will result in a smudgy horrible mess.
