I've been noticing a strange issue on my 520E ever since I converted it from a 520 (NTSC). Whenever I use it to digitize analog video, whether it be from an analog PAL device or a tape, I have noticed this very weird B&W stripe on the side that I didn't notice before the conversion. Well, it was there, just not as prominently. I don't think it has anything to do with the tape drive given that it occurs with any analog video stream. This is visible from both the analog and digital video output. Does anyone know what's going on and how to fix? Or if it's even worth fixing?

Probably a halo from an analog sharpening filter combined with subsampled chroma.
