What text size (DPI) do you use for your UHD monitor? Under Windows 7 at 3840x2160 resolution I use "Larger - 150%", but the fonts are still pretty small.

The only way to fully answer that would be to find out what distance you are sitting and what your eyesight is like.

And how big the monitor is.

I use a 32 inch, 2560x1440 monitor, sitting about 24 inches away, with Windows set at 100 percent. I find some text is still too small. I use the built in ease of access magnifier a lot!

My monitor is 28" and I also sit approximately 24" away. I don't need glasses for reading.

In my opinion, the minimum usable size for a 16:9 4K monitor is 48 inches. And that's too big for use as a monitor.
