how can you install LAVFilters-0.73.1-x64.zip? mp4 files do not play.

i executed these 3
install_audio.bat
install_splitter.bat

but mp4 files do not play.

"LAVFilters-0.73.1-Installer.exe" doesnt install in XP.

I prefer a zip file way without the installer if i can, how can i get the configurations?

0.70.2 was the last version to officially support Windows XP(*). 0.71.0 and later need Vista+.

this time i only installed and tried x64 for win 8.1, then
gomplayer.exe didnt work,
Subtitle Workshop 2.51 didnt work
Subtitle Workshop 6.0 didnt work
x64 codec doesnt seem to work for my programs
is this because these programs are not 64 bit applications?

even though LAVFilters-0.73.1-x86.zip says that it is for 32 bit, this doesnt necessarily mean that i t can work for XP?

so then LAVFilters-0.73.1-x86.zip works for 32 bit mode under 64 bit win8.1? this is a difficult concept to me.

Correct. LAVFilters-0.73.1-x86 works on 32 bit players but still needs at least Windows Vista. Won't work on Windows XP.

(Don't forget Vista, 7, 8 and even 10 still ship in 32 bit variants.)
