    Youtube auto captioning uses Google's speech recognition software to generate auto captions (they own YT of course). This software actually runs on a cloud server farm installation that cost over a billion $$$, not your computer. That's how cloud apps work. So potplayer isn't going to have that and no other similar media software either.
