Hello,
I figure I'm missing something, but I am ripping subtitles from DVD vob/ifo files in Subtitle Edit. The import seems to work ok and Subtitle Edit is reading the subtitle text during the OCR process, but when it finishes, all I'm left with are timestamps and no text.
What am I missing?
Thanks.

Hi aoife,
Yes, SE 3.5.7 has some trouble using Tesseract - you can switch to SE 3.5.6 or latest beta: https://github.com/SubtitleEdit/subtitleedit/releases/download/3.5.7/SubtitleEditBeta.zip
(or switch to OCR method "Binary image comare").
