I'm running Windows 10 Pro with most current maintenance.

I had only used the Video tools to merge MTS files a few times and it has always worked just fine. This week when I start it, it just has the scroll bar stating "initializing" and never starts. I even let run once overnight, and still never took off. I have cleared cache, rebooted my machine, but nothing seems to get it going.

Is there an issue running with the latest Windows maintenance?

Is there some step I am not aware of?
