Last night, downloaded and tried to use MissingMpegTools. The GUI is great. Tried to produce an SVCD with no luck. Had the MPEG2 video file and the .mp2 audio file and then when hitting the mux button...kept getting errors, and ultimately the program "ultimately quit-happened several times." Was wondering if anyone else has had this problem, and does it have to do with how high the MPEG2 was encoded at? Think this one was around 7 or 8.
Thanks in advance.

I had the same problem before, but finally I figured out what wrong. The solution is when u choose ur audio or video mpeg files, DO NOT use the (Choose) button, just double click the selected files, let me know if this work. 8)

Sorry, I know you wanted the volume control in VLC playback.
I trying to work the crash problem out now, I'll post when (if) ready.
