  1. Hello,

This seems like a very basic question but I can't seem to figure it out. I'm using Aegisub to edit subtitles, but it always seems to create an srt file where the previous line of dialogue appears below the current line of dialogue. I only want to show the current line of dialogue. Is there a setting I can use to change the way this is displaying?

Edit: Never mind! I realized some of the end times on the subtitles in the file I had been given came after the start times of the following subtitle, so Aegisub put them together. I made the times continuous and it all works properly.

Thanks so much for your help!
