I recently learned about how to use Make MKV to rip movies from Blu Ray.

They can then be converted to MP4 files using Handbrake.

However, I'm having problems getting these files to play on my Xbox One S. I've been using a modified version of the Fast 1080p preset.

But while files play on my PC laptop, and my iPad, my Xbox One S doesn't seem to want to recognize them. Most maddeningly of all is that the exact same file will pay on a USB thumb drive, but not on a hard drive connected to my Xbox.

Can anyone recommend settings for Handbrake that will let me play HD movies?

    Thanks in advance,

    -Tc
