Hi guys, I have some annoying problem with MeGUI.

I try to encode my karaoke subtitle to my anime with tags blur and fade-in and fade-out, {\blur2\fad(500,800)}, aegisub can display this effect

But when I try to encoding this subtitle, I found a problem, MeGUI don't display effect.

    How can I fix it?

Thank you and sorry for my English

MeGUI only offers one subtitle plugin for AviSynth: VSFilter. But there are several more which may have a better support for a specific subset of ASS features.

Who knows, maybe MeGUI will offer a selection of subtitle filters in the future ... I asked the developer.

    P.S.: Your English is fine.

  3. Are you using the same fonts for the kanji? Are they installed? Upload ass file (only relevant lines/styles). What MeGUI revision? What is your OS?

I installed kanji fonts for sure and I try to show you the tag effect “blur” and “fad” it work when I open in aegisub but it doesn’t work when I encoding my vdo. My MeGUI is version 2112, windows 8.

P.S.: Sry, I just shut down my pc. I will upload ASS file after that.

  6. I don't have DF極太丸ゴシック体 font to test. With Arial I don't see any difference.

P.S.: Why is your vsfilter.dll path "MeGUI\vsfilter.dll" and not "MeGUI\tools\avisynth_plugin\vsfilter.dll"?

  8. The font seems to be there (MRGC_1.TTC). Maybe it's a problem with your old MeGUI version (no one wants to support old versions). Latest MeGUI uses vsfilter.dll from here.

Try this Ruby or Furigana effect, it gives a fancy look to your subtitles.

This is possible with MeGUI you just need installed same fonts that you are used in lines.

And for any help about aegisub effects feel free to contact me.[emoji846]
