Lighting, framing, depth of field, manual focus, manual exposure, manual aperture, high dynamic range, white balance, color grading, tripod, stedicam, dolly, crane, shoot 24 fps, professional writers, professional directors, professional actors, set design, costume design, makeup, stunt design, stuntmen, professional producer to organize it all... That should get you started.

Jagabo is right-on.
You also need a base graphics storage and projection medium (film) that has a greater color spectrum, a wider contrast range, more talent at recording low-density subjects like fog or mist or other low contrast scenes, more detail and less noise with high-contrast scenes like night shots, greater accutance and resolution, total absence of compression artifacts, plus cleaner motion rendering than digital video currently offers. But things can always improve.Last edited by LMotlow; 13th Oct 2018 at 01:06.

Change the camera and/or lenses and learn to use it, or learn to use the one that you have if its capable of obtaining the look, the rest is experience and know-how.

I forgot to mention aspect ratio. Movies come in several aspect ratios but many people think of 2.35:1 as the movie look.

Thanks !
What exactly is motion rendering ? I cound not find something about it.
and can i apply all those things with a digital camera? -
You’re adding something on top of your image to simulate that when all you need to do is change your project settings to the proper CinemaScope aspect ratio. Then your video doesn’t have black bars and plays appropriately. That’s also the EASY way. I’ll never understand why people do this nonsense.

cinemascope is usually 21/9. or 2.33/1 in square pixels a 1920 horizontal the vertical would be set to 822 or so depending on the encoder. some prefer it to be divisible by 8, 4 or 2.

I think you are talking about a technique to make your video material to have the film look, if this is the case the technical term is "color grade", you might also find it as "grade", "color grading", etc.
Learn to use Blackmagic DaVinci Resolve, the basic version it's free and it comes with a lot of tools to play with, the learning curve is quite fast, here a few examples of what you meant to say "film look":

Please note that the learning curve of DaVinci is quite easy, but it require some background knowledge from you so you know what you are doing, like to look at a scene and identify the color pallets used, color scheme, understand different types of levels, why the color wheel it's set the way it is, etc.

Do you know Paletton?
It might get you started with colors so you can understand and color grade your materials better.
I know some aspects of pre-production like camera, lenses, focus, etc. But my area is post, so maybe this video can reinforce what people already told you in this post.

Have a good one. -
The OP doesn't have a clue what "that cinematic look" is supposed to mean, all these responses are just confisung him or her more.
