  1. This website:
    https://tunein.com/podcasts/Current-Affairs/Alternative-Radio-p578/
has various on demand audio streams. For those that will play, it is easy to find the download link using Chrome browser network analyzer when playing the audio stream. For example, the title:
    Journalism: Truth or Propaganda
when played, yields this downloadable link (downloads 50 minute audio in about 3 seconds) using Windows Chrome browser
    http://audio.alternativeradio.org/station-downloads/SCAJ004-TruthOrPropaganda.mp3
(might have to right click on pop-up player and choose "save audio as")
    My question is:
is there a way to find and download the link using only Android device? If so, please explain how to do it. I tried to select"download audio" on Android device, but that repeatedly just locked up the Chrome browser and never downloaded anything. In fact, to clear out the browser, I had to uninstall and re-install the Chrome browser on the Android device. (Possibly deleting "history" would have cleared the browser.)
The Chrome browser on the Android device doesn't have any "network analyzer" (like the Windows Chrome does). Is there some kind of Android software that would allow me to sniff/get the download link for the mp3 while it is being played?

Why is it necessary to download it in Android?

  3. There are times when I don't have access to Windows, but I always have access to my Android.

See this option for Firefox. It talks about setting an option in about:config to false:
