    Since I am very much illiterate here I am at a loss as to what my problem is. From a mkv a .sup file is extracted. I open it with Subtitle Edit, hit the start ocr button, correct the typical anomalies and save to .srt in the past. Now, I get an srt with time stamps but no text and don't know why. help ...

    There's big problems with the OCR in last update of Subtitle Edit due to the upgrade to Tesseract 4 beta.
