How do I stop PotPlayer from automatically creating a playlist?

The most recent thread I could find on this was from 2014, and there was a workaround for back then, but it no longer applies to the current version.

I just want the simple ability to play a single file without PotPlayer creating an entire playlist based on the folder.

If I click on only one file, I'd like to play only that file.
