I don't know why it shows up and don't even remember I ever installed this extension.

In the extension page, I find no tool has such a name.

    Can anybody help with this?

How to remove this page from my chrome?

    Thank you so much!

    Do you know what's about?

    What should I do now?

Does anybody have some problems like that?

    Thanks.

    Best regards.

    Maybe uninstall your new extension.

  3. @ KarMa

Hi. The problem is that I do not install anything. I do not see any "new" extension on my browser.

And the page pointed above just appears by itself. I think I did not do anything wrong. At least knowing that.

My concern is about any kind of trojan ( stealing data / passwords ) , malware, virus or something.

    Thanks.

    Best regards.

If you can't figure out where your problem resides the best you can do is delete the chrome profile folder.

Google for the exact location as i am on Linux

  5. Get Malwarebytes Antimalware, install and run the free version to do a scan. You don't need the full version or even trial, just free. If you got the dough it's a good buy though.

  6. First, run Malwarebytes. Next, see if you can manually change the home page. Then, look for and eliminate the Video Pro Downloader program, delete the directory, the install file, everything you can find.

After all that, make an effort to be less clueless.
