I've been using phone data to browse and watch videos on my phone since I don't have internet at the moment.

So I just watch videos in 240p and that allowed me to notice something rather odd for me... some videos look awful in 240p while others look so good they made me double check if I wasn't above 480p (don't forget I'm on phone)

    Why is that happening?

Is it a certain way to render the video?

    Or what is it?

How do you achieve good quality while in low resolution?

  2. Generally, use sufficient bitrate for the particular video. But maybe you should post a short sample of a good video and a bad video (both made by you) and people can tell what's wrong with the bad one.
