I was having problems burning a DVD project I made with DVDit! PE where the movie would always skip and sometimes give "Unable to read disc" errors on my set top DVD player after the first half of the movie, so I thought I would try Primo DVD to burn the discs.

Unfortunately, ever since I installed Primo DVD, I can't burn any disc over 2 GB in size. It doesn't matter whether the files are DVD, or a disc image, or just random files grabbed from my hard drive; if the total disc size comes to over 2 GB, I get an error every time as soon as the data burned to the disc hits 2 GB. A burn attempt at 1.99 GB will work without a hitch.

I've tried uninstalling Primo and using a variety of other burning programs, but now they all stop right at the 2 GB mark give me SC/ASC/ASCQ of 05/26/00 which is "Invalid field in parameter list."

I've also tried uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers for the burner (Panasonic LF-D311) and upgrading the firmware to the latest release (A122) but with no luck.

My operating system is Windows XP with the CD-burning critical updates installed.

Any help would be greatly appreciated as I haven't been able to find anything like this anywhere on the net or in any manual.

Thanks
