some question about MKVToolNix

sorry if my english bad
some day ago in this forum, i got new great software "MKVToolNix GUI", this software is really great, it can "convert" video so fast, too fast, i have some question about this software:

1. how it can "convert" so fast?
2. can this software "convert" to the different resolution, split, or combine video?
3. can it convert to mp4? ( i don't know but my android seem laggy when playing mkv video )

1 Because it remux. It doesn't convert just copy video and audio.
2 It can split and combine (join) but since it doesn't convert it can't change resolution.

No tutorial for it because its pretty easy to figure out how to use the basic operation but if you want to go advance you can check the documentation on https://mkvtoolnix.download/

take note that MKVToolnix is always and only produce mkv file, if you want to make mp4 file use mp4box or FFMPEG

i have use it yasterday,
i thought it has GUI like movie maker so i ask here,
but actualy you must add manually by yourself,
anyway thank you
