HOw do I take out advertisements from mkv files in one step?

Can anyone come up with a shareware or freeware that takes out advertisements from videos in one step? Or a software package that cut before the ad and after the ad so that a i can join them with a joiner faster than handbrake? it seems to take forever! John

for shareware you need software that capable of Smart Rendering just google it

in freeware section there is no easy way currently but if you want to learn use FFMPEG and avisynth you can achieve same thing but in hardcore way

assuming that you not want to re-encode the whole video

With my m2ts captures I just drop it in avidemux, scroll to the commercial and select to and delete it, I repeat until I found them all the just export back out without re-encoding. Average show takes me 5mins just because I scroll from start to finish
